Project Description
For this project in Braintree, we was asked to remove and old worn out driveway that was laid many years ago, using tarmac. The tarmac driveway served its purpose, but now it was time for us to improve the look of this property by installing a new block paving driveway.
We started by digging up the old driveway. We also had to dig up a grassed area and a tree that stood in the front garden. The tree was cut down by our expert tree surgeons and then the stump was removed using a mini digger. This was all loaded onto our truck and disposed of in a proper manner.
The whole area was levelled off so the sub-base could be perpared. For this we used a sub-base aggregate. We then laid a sand screed on top of this. The block paving could then be laid in the pattern of our clients choice. They chose to have two coloured bricks. A charcoal colour for the border and a different colour brick which went inside of the border.

Our clients loved there new modern driveway and were happy the could drive on it the very next day.
